Mr Emerson in your statement you have criticized and pointed on the responsibility of NGOs on recognizing non-state armed groups as actors responsible for terrorism. Although it is obvious that when non-state forces carry out a terrorist act, this is a clear violation of human rights, the legal responsibility of states is not comparable with that of none state ones. States should meet out a proportional response so that the evil circle of violence would not escalate things. States should use less violence and not carry out similar operations, even more violent than that of their adversaries. Sudwind is concerned about the spread of the regional war to Iran and as such, condemns the harsh treatment suffered by those belonging to the Sunni minorities in Kurdistan and Baluchistan, who—even if they implicitly back armed grouped they have not renounced armed operations and still haven’t committed any act. Mr Alston A very difficult challenge in every society is to overcome the downward drift, which means that poor people who are at a disadvantage will face a number of obstacles on their way. This specifically includes women who are poor, at a disadvantage and are discriminated against. Islamic Republic of Iran has been justifying the high rates of poverty with using the sanctions as an excuse. However, the sanctions didn’t stop the importation of 95000 luxurious cars between 2009 and 2014, worth 600,000 Euros each. To realize the depth of the problem, we can look at the number of people who live under poverty in Iran and can’t even afford buying bread. The cost of a single Porsche (one of the thousands of luxurious cars on the streets of Iran) can buy bread for 775 million of people.
